Neonlichter’s knack for finding contrasts and polymorphic textures across genres has garnered acclaim and scorn in equal measure, most memorably deemed “complete dystopian garbage”. With a background in college radio - and having learned and practiced mixing live on the air - they have little regard for stylistic purity. Whether through astral zoners, geometric music, low speed chuggers, or transgenre freakouts, the search is always for the space between the notes.
